Beginners soldering class

This is a FANTASTIC class for students really wanting to master the skill of basic solder joins. This sounds so much easier than it actually is haha. Soldering is HARD. But this class is structured to give you the best shot at soldering joins at home with your own equipment. So a fab class for students wanting to pursue a hobby or career in Metalsmithing and jewellery making. Completely beginner friendly! 

basic skills using a high heat butane torch (we have more experienced classes for soldering with a oxy torch as well).

you receive all of my booklets on soldering, tools I recommend as well as where to get them all. Plus a whole lot more useful information with pictures. 

you will be working with brass and silver for this workshop, this class is a skill based class it is not so much a class to finish a piece of jewellery. 
This class would be perfect as a first step for someone wanting to continue Metalsmithing and soldering from home. 
Metalsmithing and jewellery making is a tricky thing to learn, but with some guidance and lots of practice it’s totally possible.

ages 18 and up, this class runs for 5 hours. Max of 2 students per class.
