DISCLAIMER

When accessing, browsing or using silver and stone workshops, www.sliverandstonemetalsmithing.com by placing an order in person you are agreeing to and are bound by these terms and conditions in their entirety. You may wish to print these for future reference. These terms are contractual and not a mere recital. The terms may change from time to time without notice and use of our website and booking system (invoices or website bookings) signifies that you agree to these changes.

Silver and stone Jewellery Workshops accepts no liabilty for property loss, damage to personal belongings, or physical injury of any kind.

The Participant releases and forever discharges the Workshop Provider, the Workshop Provider’s spouse, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives and assigns from all manner of actions, causes of action, debts, accounts, bonds, contracts, claims and demands for or by reason of injury to person or property, including injury resulting in the death of the Participant, which has been or may be sustained as a consequence of the Participant’s participation in the workshop, or the condition of the premises and not withstanding that such damage, loss or injury may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence of the Workshop Provider.

The Participant acknowledges that these terms exist with the express intention of effecting the extinguishment of certain obligations owed to the Participant and with the intention of binding the Participant’s spouse, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representative and assigns.

The Participant understands that by agreeing to these terms they are forever prevented from suing or otherwise claiming against the Workshop Provider for any property loss of personal injury that the Participant may sustain while participating in or preparing for, going to or coming from the above noted activity.

REFUNDS AND RESCHEDULING WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES. 

We “Silver and stone jeweller workshops” (formerly POPinky designs) do NOT offer refunds for any reason other than the business itself not being able to run the class or workshop and the student has asked for a refund and isn’t able to reschedule. 
We will however reschedule for students if they require so as long as they give ‘silver and stone jeweller workshops’ 7 days notice. 
We can only offer a rescheduled session for 1 (one) missed class or workshop. 
This is information we have had our (silver and stone jewellery workshops) legal team provide so all parties understand the agreement.

SAFETY INFORMATION

It is strongly recommended that all participants wear closed toed shoes, tie back long hair and avoid loose fitting clothing items for safety reasons.

 

Agreement to these terms is to also to agree that the participants have no physical limitations, medical ailments, physical or mental disabilities that would limit or prevent them from participating in the above mentioned activity.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure your safety such as correct tuition and safety equipment provision the participant acknowledges and understands that there are inherent dangers associated with jewellery making, jewellery soldering, and other related activities, and that mortal or serious personal injuries and property damage, including (but not limited to) physical effort, cuts, burns, and/or inhalation of hazardous substances may occur from participation in such activities and participation is at your own risk.

 

Anyone suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to attend and will not receive a refund. Silver & stone Jewellery Workshops reserves the right to withdraw any person whose conduct is deemed detrimental, or anti social without refund. Jewellery Workshops reserves the right to deny access or to remove any person from a class at silver and stone Jewellery Workshops discretion based on our assessment of an individual’s potential risk of injury. 

INSURANCE

Silver and stone Jewellery Workshops does not offer customers insurance and as such recommends that workshop participants take out their own insurance to cover any cancellation costs.
