Czech glass kiln fired beads, each bead is individually knotted in place with silk cord, high quality precious metal findings.
This necklace has beads that are beautiful shades of green, aqua and blues with turquoise colour silk cord knotted between each bead and 14ct yellow gold vermeil findings and clasp.
you can choose if you would like a circle clasp or oval. The clasp is the opening for the necklace so you can open and close it around your neck. The clasp can also hold whatever pendant you are wanting that day. Or you can have no pendant and just enjoy the necklace on its own.
What is gold vermeil?
a high-quality, durable form of gold-plated jewelry featuring a sterling silver base (925) coated with a thick layer of gold, typically at least 10k and 2.5 microns thick
- Composition: Must be sterling silver base, not brass or copper, plated with at least 2.5 microns of gold.
- Durability: Significantly more durable than standard gold plating (which is often<0.5 microns).
- Hypoallergenic: Ideal for sensitive skin because the base is sterling silver, not nickel.
- Appearance: Looks almost identical to solid gold but at a much lower price point.
