This ring has 3 beautiful stones, it has two pieces of Kingman turquoise and in the middle a black opal from lightning ridge Australia.
sterling silver and fine silver (fine silver is pure silver, it is more pure than sterling silver. Sterling silver has 7.5% copper added to it this is why the stamp for sterling is 925. Fine silver only has 0.1% copper, its identification number is 999. I was quite surprised to find out a lot of people are unaware of this, and don’t know about the different types of silver. Fine silver is very soft to work with, this is why when I use it for rings it is only used in quite thick amounts so it’s durable. Fine silver never tarnishes! Sterling silver tarnishes, of course we can buff and polish it back up afterwards but I think it’s very cool that fine silver never ever tarnishes. Amazing don’t you think☺️
